Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Guided by clause 19 of item 109 of the Constitution of Azerbaijan Republic in connection with the entry into force of the Law of Azerbaijan Republic from May 16, 2014 №964-IVQD about modification of the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic “On establishment of awards and medals of Azerbaijan Republic” in connection with the statement of “Gold medal of Azerbaijan Republic named after Nizami Ganjavi " for the purpose of ensuring application of the specified Law I hereby decree: 

1. The Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan Republic: 

1.1. During the three months to prepare and submit to the President of Azerbaijan Republic proposals on bringing the legislation of Azerbaijan Republic and the acts of President of the Azerbaijan Republic in accordance with the Law of Azerbaijan Republic on amendments to the Law of Azerbaijan Republic on “Establishment of orders and medals of Azerbaijan Republic” in connection with the adoption of the “Gold Medal of Azerbaijan Republic named after Nizami Ganjavi"; 

1.2. During the three months to provide the normative legal acts of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan Republic in accordance with this Law and inform the President of Azerbaijan Republic; 

1.3. Check the normative-legal acts of central executive authorities in accordance with this Act and for five months to inform the President of Azerbaijan on the execution; 

1.4. To resolve issues arising from this Act. 

2. Determine that the responsibilities of organization provided for in the 2nd paragraph of “Regulation on establishment of the “Gold Medal of Azerbaijan Republic named after Nizami Ganjavi”, approved by the Law №964-IVQD of Azerbaijan Republic from May 16, 2014” are carried out by Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.

3. Ministry of Justice to provide the normative-legal acts of central executive authorities in accordance with the Law of Azerbaijan Republic on amendments to the Law of Azerbaijan Republic “On establishment of awards and medals of Azerbaijan Republic” in connection with the statement " Gold Medal of Azerbaijan Republic named after Nizami Ganjavi " and inform the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan Republic.
