Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The personal belongings of the martyr, National Hero Chingiz Gurbanov has been handed over to the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan of ANAS.

The materials of the martyr were presented to the museum by Esmira Rahimova, the director of the Documentary Sources Fund.

It should be noted that Chingiz Gurbanov was born in 1994 in Hazra village of Gusar region. He studied at the Azerbaijan Technical University. In July 2016, he was drafted to active military service. Soldier Chingiz Gurbanov was heroically killed on December 29, 2016, while preventing the provocation of an enemy intelligence group on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border. The martyr was buried in the Alley of Martyrs in Gusar. After his death, he was awarded the title of "National Hero of Azerbaijan."
