The article "Influence of pesticides on the biological activity of light chestnut soils in South-East Kazakhstan" was published in the prestigious "Journal of Water and Land Development", indexed on the basis of "Scopus". The co-authors of the article are the head of the laboratory of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of ANAS, doctor of agrarian sciences Mustafa Mustafayev, Kazakh scientists Zulfiya Tukenova, Mereke Alimzhanova and others.

The article discusses the impact of pesticides on soil biological activity, as well as the current state of open chestnut soils and their ecological assessment by the Kazakhstan Agricultural and Crop Research Institute in order to create diagnostic indicators that reduce biological activity. The study covers the physical, chemical and biological properties of soils under winter wheat in open chestnut soils in the south-east of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
