Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Well-known scientist in the field of agrarian sciences, head of the laboratory of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry, corresponding member of ANAS Amin Ismayılov is 70 years old.

Ismayılov Amin Ismayil oglu was born on March 14, 1951 in Kurdamir region. He graduated from the Azerbaijan State Polytechnic Institute (now the Azerbaijan Technical University) in 1972, the Faculty of Irrigation and Drainage.

In 2011 he was awarded the title of Professor, in 2014 he was elected a corresponding member of ANAS.

The well-known scientist is the author of more than 130 scientific works, including 5 monographs, 2 university textbooks, books and methodical recommendations, international patents. Under the scientific guidance of Amin Ismayılov, 2 doctors of philosophy were trained. He is closely involved in the master's degree process at the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction and the Azerbaijan National Aviation Academy.

Since 2018, he is a member of the Editorial Board of the National Encyclopedia of Azerbaijan. Since 2019, he has held a responsible position as Chairman of the Expert Council on Biological Sciences and Agrarian Sciences of the Supreme Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Amin Ismayılov also takes an active part in the public life of the country. It is no coincidence that he was elected a member of the Board of the New Azerbaijan Party at the VII Congress on March 5, 2021.
