Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Today marks the 60th anniversary of Ramiz Aliguliyev, a scientist who made significant contributions to the development of mathematics and computer science in Azerbaijan, was awarded the "Taraggi" medal, head of the department of the Institute of Information Technology, corresponding member of ANAS.

R.Aliguliyev, the author of important scientific results in the development of mathematics and computer science in our country, is one of the scientists distinguished not only by his scientific activity, but also by his personal qualities, diligence and skillful scientific organization. Demonstrating high initiative in the public life of the Institute of Information Technology, he gained great prestige and respect among colleagues of scientists, as well as all employees of the institute.

The scientist always takes great care and sensitivity to the formation of young researchers as highly qualified personnel, their involvement in science, and is closely involved in the organization of various scientific events organized at the institute.

R. Aliguliyev is the chairman of the State Examination Commission at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics of Baku State University.
