NASA has released images of a giant star called "AG Carinae".

The star in question is 20,000 light-years from Earth (about 9 trillion kilometers a light-year). It is 70 times bigger than the sun and a million times brighter. "AG Carinae" is said to have formed about 10,000 years ago.

According to NASA, the star is in the last days of his life. It will explode and be destroyed after a while.
