According to Swedish researchers, the predisposition to certain diseases depends on blood type.

The experts published the results of their research in the scientific journal “eLife”.

The researchers looked at the medical histories of five million patients. As a result, they found 49 diseases that are more common in people with a certain blood type.

Experts say that people with the first blood group have more coagulation disorders, and patients with the second blood group have more thrombosis. At the same time, women with a positive first blood group are more likely to suffer from hypertension.

People with the third blood group are less prone to kidney stones than others. The authors of the study said they intend to conduct additional research to confirm the results.
