Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

“Karvan yolu” (Caravan route) book was published by chief department of ANAS Institute of Geology and Geophysics, prominent poet, member of Azerbaijan Writers’ Union (AWU), prof. Hikmat Mahmud.

Book compiles almost 250 poems, including rubai, goshma and couplets. Besides H. Mahmud’s new poems, you can come across his works penned during 1960-70 and published nowhere. H. Mahmud’s words of wisdom, puzzles in philosophical context, queries, and opinions about the life secrets arouse interest in the edition.

Editor and author of preface is poet Ilyas Tapdig.
