Order of the AR President on celebrating first German translation and 200th publication of “Kitabi Dede-Gorgud”

200th anniversary of revealing, publishing and promoting Kitabi – Dede Gorgud monument which occupies exceptional place in cultural opulence of Azerbaijan people, by Friedrich von Dietz will be celebrated in 2015.

In last period, several investigations were held embedded “Dede Gorgud” and put forward vital steps in forming Gorgud study as a separate area. Celebration of 1300th anniversary of “Kitabi – Dede Gorgud” at international level by UNESCO was a new stage in research history of saga.

Taking into account the huge importance of “Dede Gorgud” saga in preserving national-cultural heritage and behaving new offspring in patriotic spirit, as well as with the goal to provide systematic activity of gorgud study, I decree guiding by 32 clause of 109 item of the Constitution of the Azerbaijan Republic:

1. Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan joint with Ministry of Education of AR and Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences taking into account suggestions of International Center for Multiculturalism, Knowledge Foundation under President of the Republic of Azerbaijan as well as Azerbaijan Writers’ Union to conduct Action Plan embedded 200th anniversary of revealing, publishing and promoting Kitabi – Dede Gorgud by Friedrich von Dietz and to submit to the AR Cabinet of Ministers.

2. AR Cabinet of Ministers to solve issues stemming out the Order.
