Various types of flower bushes and tree saplings brought from different regions of Azerbaijan were planted in the area of the Main Building of ANAS, on May 14, during the improvement and greening works carried out in connection with the spring season.

The tree-planting process was attended by the President of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbeyli and the Vice-President of ANAS, Academician Irada Huseynova.

Academician Isa Habibbeyli said that the tree-planting process, carried out during the improvement and greening days on the territory of the Academy, aims to support the greening efforts and environmental protection measures implemented in our country. This contributes to the preservation of ecological balance and the enrichment of biodiversity and also aims to raise environmental awareness and reflects the ecological responsibility of the scientific community.

Academician Isa Habibbeyli mentioned that the green area in the Rare Trees Park, with unique flora, located in the ANAS campus will further be enriched with rare tree and flower species. For this purpose, he gave relevant instructions and recommendations.

Afterwards, agrotechnical care was carried out for the flower bushes and trees planted in accordance with the climatic conditions of our country.

The improvement and greening work carried out in connection with the spring season continues in the territory of the Main Building of ANAS.
