Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

In 2015, will be celebrated 110th anniversary of prominent architect of Azerbaijan, Socialist Labor Hero, State Laureate of USSR and Republic of Azerbaijan, academician Mikayil Alasgar oglu Huseynov.

During the rich activity covering more than half century Mikayil Huseynov enriched Azerbaijan national architecture art with his findings and created decent patterns of monumental buildings by means of modern technologies. His projects occupies major place in identifying current architectural face of Baku city. The scientist who had special role in emerging Azerbaijan architecture art as a science, contributed to hi-qualified staff training for the country as well.

Guiding by 32 clause of 109 item of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, with the goal to provide the hold of 110th anniversary of academician Mikayil Huseynov who gifted to development of Azerbaijan architecture art and staff training I hereby decree:

1. Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences joint with AR Ministry of Culture and Tourism and AR Ministry of Education to conduct Action Plan devoted to acad. Mikayil Huseynov’s 110th anniversary by taking account suggestions of Azerbaijan Architects’ Union.

2. AR Cabinet of Ministers to solve issues stemming out from this Order.
