In electronic assembly hall of ANAS Literature Institute held commemorative ceremony dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the outstanding scientist-literary criticism, doctor of philological sciences Veli Osmanli.

At the event vice-president of ANAS Isa Habibeyli delivered lecture dedicated on scientific activity of the outstanding scientist-literary criticism, doctor of philological sciences Veli Osmanli.

Then was listened the lecture of Professor Tahira Mammadli on the situation as a researcher of Azerbaijani romanticism and theorists in the domestic literary criticism.

At the event, Professors Maharram Gasimli, Himalay Gasimov, Agshin Babayev and others spoke about Veli Osmanli’s scientific activity and high human qualities, shared their memories about the scientist.

In conclusion, late scientist’s wife Doctor of Philology Sara Osmanli expressed gratitude to the organizers and participants of the event.
