Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Director of ANAS Institute of Geography, head of the Azerbaijan Geography Society, academician Ramiz Mammadov has been invited by the Southest Asian Geography Association (SEAGA) of the People's Republic of China to attend the conference will be held in Shanghai on October 9-12.

The Academician will participate at the event and deliver a paper on “The geographical research in Azerbaijan”

Asia's rapidly development since XXI century, important economic and cultural development in the world-wide, the role of geographers in this direction and the Association's joint plan of cooperation with the Azerbaijani colleagues were expressed on the invitation signed by the president of SEAGA, professor Chang Chew Hung.
