Science Development Foundation announced the results of the 3rd grant competition for young scientists and specialists

Science Development Fund under the President of Azerbaijan announced the results of the 3rd grant competition for young scientists and specialists.

The competition was announced on November 10, 2014, several consulting seminars were organized with the goal to assist grant applicants.

The competition has been included 74 projects in all branches of science and on the types of grant, registered with the Copyright Agency, and expertise of the projects were involved the permanent experts to Science Development Foundation also, domestic and foreign international independent scientific experts.

On the results of the competition, the final decision adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Science Development Foundation, 24 winners were defined for 3rd grant competition for young scientists and specialists, which of funding sets 500,000 manat. 

Winner projects under 3rd grant competition for young scientists and specialists will be implemented at the Institutes of Physics, Mathematics and Mechanics, Radiation Problems, Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry, Petrochemical Processes, Chemistry of Additives, Geology and Geophysics, Geography, Botany, Architecture and Art, Literature of ANAS, Institutes of Bio resources, Art, Language and Literature of Nakchivan Branch, including at the Baku State University, Khazar University, Azerbaijan University of Tourism and Management, Azerbaijan Scientific-Research Institute of Agriculture, Scientific-Research Institute of Lungs Diseases, Scientific-Research Institute of Economic Reforms, and ECORES, non-government organization.

21 of winner projects are fundamental-applied natured while one of its innovative. International scientific conferences will be held over 2 projects dedicated to 70th anniversary of ANAS; 6th international scientific conference titled as “Multidisciplinary approach in solution of challenges of Geophysics and geophysics”, and “Sustainable development priorities of regional tourism”.

5 projects in physics-mathematics and technical sciences, 4 projects in earth sciences, 5 projects in chemistry, 5 projects in biology, medicine and agricultural sciences, and 5 projects in the humanities and social sciences were announced the winners. 17 women and 7 men are the managers of the winner projects.
