Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The exhibition, organized within celebration of the 70th anniversary of ANAS was of great interest of foreign visitors. The exhibition attended by Nobel Prize winner, Professor George Fitzgerald Smoot, General secretary of the Caspian Strategic Institute Khaldun Yavash and Regional coordinator of CSI Kamala Pashayeva, President of the Academy of Sciences of Turkey, Professor Ahmad Javad Ajar, President of the International Turkic Academy, Professor Darkhan Kidiraly and a number of local and foreign visitors.

At the exhibition organized at the main building of ANAS were created stands of seven scientific departments of the Academy. Here are presented the main achievements of scientific institutions and organizations, the results of major studies, booklets, reflecting the activities of these institutions, mini-booklets in Azerbaijani, Russian and English languages, valuable editions, books including new publications devoted to the 70th anniversary. The separate pavilion is allocated to each scientific organization.

At the pavilions are demonstrated the exhibits on displaying board, monitors are installed, which broadcast video, and scope of institutions and organizations.

At the exhibition hall, along with scientific institutions, functioning under the department of ANAS, products of the Scientific Center "Azerbaijan National Encyclopedia", Republican Seismological Survey Center, Experimental-Industrial plant and other organizations participating in the structural composition of the Presidium of the Academy, as well as publications which authors are members of the Presidium.

In addition, anniversary exhibition presented important results and products of regional scientific departments of ANAS.
