Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

In February 2016 will be celebrated 125th anniversary of one of the prominent representatives of Azerbaijani literature, writer, essaist, translator, publisher and public figure Jeyhun Hajibeyli Abdulhuseyn oglu.

Jeyhun Hajibeyli contributed to the history of national literary-social thought, and aimed at promoting the world's rich cultural achievements of the Azerbaijani people.

Governed by Clause 32 of Article 109 of the Constitution, and bearing in mind the important contributions by Jeyhun Hajibeyli in the development and promotion of national culture, I decree:

1. Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences jointly with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan Republic and the Ministry of Education of the Azerbaijan Republic to prepare and implement a plan of events dedicated to the 125th anniversary of Jeyhun Hajibeyli.

2. The Cabinet of Ministers to resolve issues arising from this Order.
