Head of the prestigious language center - Turkish Language Society, Professor Mustafa Kachalin visited the Institute of Manuscripts named after M. Fizuli of ANAS on December 22.

He met with the Director of the Institute, Academician-Secretary of Department of Humanitarian Sciences of ANAS, Academician Teymur Kerimli.

Mustafa Kachalin spoke about the activities of the structure headed by him in the field of literature of Turkic peoples.

Teymur Kerimli, in turn, informed about the work carried out at the institute, protection, restoration, preparation for publication and electronization of manuscripts.

Note that, the electronic exhibition of manuscripts aroused special interest of Mustafa Kachalin. In addition, the visitor acquainted with the expositional hall of manuscripts, restoration laboratory and storage of manuscripts, as well as a reading room.

The meeting also attended the scientific secretary of the Institute of Manuscripts, PhD in philology Azizaga Najafov, senior researcher, Doctor of History Tahir Hasanzadeh, Head of the Department Nigar Babakhanova.
