At the next meeting of the Presidium of ANAS, the results of the “Young Scientist of the Year” award competition of ANAS for 2024 were announced.

The President of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbeyli underlined that according to the regulations, young scientists under the age of 29 who have defended their PhD dissertations and distinguished in scientific and public activities are awarded the “Young Scientist of the Year” diploma and a monetary prize. Meanwhile, young scientists under the age of 35 who have defended their PhD dissertations, as well as young specialists who have not defended but have distinguished in scientific activities and actively participated in public affairs, are awarded the “Young Scientist of the Year” diploma.

According to the results of the competition, Elnura Huseynova, Senior Researcher at the Nasimi Institute of Linguistics and PhD in Philology was awarded the “Young Scientist of the Year” diploma of ANAS and a monetary prize. The winners in the “Young Scientist of the Year” nomination also include: Telli Aliyeva, Head of Department at the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature and PhD in Philology, Asim Jannatov, Junior Researcher at the Academician Ziya Bunyadov Institute of Oriental Studies, Shahane Shahbazova, Junior Researcher at the Academician Ziya Bunyadov Institute of Oriental Studies, Gunay Bayramova, Researcher and PhD student at the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology, Nigar Ismayilova, Junior Researcher and PhD candidate at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology, Kubra Valiyeva, Researcher at the Manuscripts Fund of the Nakhchivan Division of ANAS, Ayshan Salmanova, Researcher at the Sheki Regional Scientific Center, Mirmahammad Babayev, Researcher at the Lankaran Regional Scientific Center, Simuzar Gafarli, Head of Department and PhD candidate at the Ganja Division of ANAS, Sharqiyya Imamali, Researcher and PhD candidate at the former Institute of the Caucasus Studies, Zuriya Garayeva, Chief Specialist at the Central Scientific Library and PhD in Political Sciences.
