An event of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences dedicated to the “Science Day” is taking place currently

An event dedicated to the “Science Day” of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences is taking place today at the Central Scientific Library.

The event is attended by the President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Academician Isa Habibbeyli, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Writers’ Union, People’s Writer Anar, Chairman of the Science and Education Committee of the Milli Majlis (National Assembly) Anar Isgandarov, Chairman of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan Sahib Mammadov, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Elders of Azerbaijan Vahid Novruzov, members of the Milli Majlis, representatives of scientific institutions of ANAS and the Ministry of Science and Education, rectors of higher education institutions, representatives of the Azerbaijan Writers’ Union and the National Library of Azerbaijan, young scientists, and media representatives.

The event began with a viewing of a book and exhibition dedicated to Science Day. This was followed by a visit to an exhibition featuring works by People’s Writer Anar, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Writers’ Union, along with an organized book signing session.

The event was opened with a welcoming speech by the President of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbeyli, who delivered a report titled “Science Day and the Dialogue between Science and Literature.”
