Academician Isa Habibbeyli viewed a stand of the “Elm” publishing house during the 4th Turkic World Literature and Book Festival

The “Elm” publishing house was also taking part with its own stand at the 4th Turkic World Literature and Book Festival (IV LitBookFest), which started on May 24 and was held in the park in front of the Main Building of ANAS.

The stand of “Elm” publishing house attracted great interest from visitors due to its special design and rich resources. A variety of books and monographs published by the publishing house, bibliographic indexes of scientists who had contributed to the development of Azerbaijani science, conference materials, and other visual aids were showcased there.

President of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbeyli viewed the stand of “Elm” Publishing House displayed within the 4th Turkic World Literature and Book Festival.  

The director of the “Elm” publishing house, PhD in Philology Sabuhi Gahramanov gave the detailed information to the head of ANAS. He said that the stand features publications reflecting the life and political activity of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev, books about the 80th anniversary and the founding history of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, the stages of scientific development, and its achievements as well as literature about lives and works of scientists who dedicated their lives to scientific creativity and played an important role in the establishment and development of ANAS. The stand also includes bibliographies of prominent scientists, monographs published in connection with the 530th anniversary of Mahammad Fuzuli, and nearly 100 books related to the Turkic world.

It should be noted that the 4th Turkic World Literature and Book Festival, organized by the International Union of Turkic Authors and supported by several institutions from Azerbaijan and the Turkic world, continued until May 31. Each day of the festival was dedicated to a different country-Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Turkmenistan, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
