Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

The Rasul Rza Award was presented to the President of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbeyli at the Rasul Rza House-Museum.

The event held for this purpose was opened by the Director of the museum, Fidan Rzayeva, who underlined that the first event at the newly opened museum was the presentation of the 2025 Rasul Rza Award to Academician Isa Habibbeyli.

Chairman of the Rasul Rza Literary Center Public Union and Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis, Academician Rafael Huseynov delivered a speech in which he underlined that this year’s award was presented to the President of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbeyli for his significant studies about Rasul Rza. He said that Academician Isa Habibbeyli, known for his distinctive style and extensive academic research in Azerbaijani literary studies, is the author of valuable works about People's Poet Rasul Rza, as well as People's Poet Nigar Rafibeyli and People's Writer Anar. Describing Academician Isa Habibbeyli as a prominent representative of Azerbaijani literary studies and a skilled organizer of science, Academician Rafael Huseynov congratulated the head of ANAS on receiving the Rasul Rza Award.  

Chairman of the Azerbaijan Writers’ Union and People’s Writer Anar also delivered a speech in which he highlighted great contributions of Academician Isa Habibbeyli to the study of Azerbaijani literature. He expressed his gratitude to Academician Isa Habibbeyli for the valuable scientific research about the creativity of his parents, People’s Poets Rasul Rza and Nigar Rafibeyli.

Elchin Huseynbeyli, writer and Secretary of the Azerbaijan Writers’ Union, also congratulated Academician Isa Habibbeyli on being awarded the Rasul Rza Award for his important academic studies and wished him continued creative success.

Then, the Chairman of the Rasul Rza Literary Center Public Union and Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis, Academician Rafael Huseynov presented the 2025 Rasul Rza Award to the President of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbeyli.

At the end of the event, Academician Isa Habibbeyli delivered a speech and expressed his gratitude to the museum’s leadership for organizing the first event at the Rasul Rza House-Museum  on the occasion of presenting him the Rasul Rza Award as well as Academician Rafael Huseynov and People’s Writer Anar for presenting him with this prestigious award in literary studies.
