Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

On June 15, 2025, the President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Academician Isa Habibbeyli met with the soldiers and officers of a military unit “N” in the Sharur district of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

Addressing the personnel, the President of ANAS congratulated the soldiers and officers on the occasion of National Salvation Day and spoke about the political and historical significance of this remarkable day, which is associated with the name of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, and the struggle he led.

During the meeting, the soldiers were informed about the significant events that happened in Azerbaijan from the time of National Salvation up to the restoration of territorial integrity and state sovereignty.  

Academician Isa Habibbeyli presented the soldiers with books by Ashig Alasgar, Jalil Mammadguluzade, and Gurban Said, as well as brought them food supplies.

The head of ANAS familiarized himself with the conditions created for the soldiers and had lunch with them.
