Next phase of “Let’s know our country” educational tour-action, under instruction of President Ilham Aliyev for IX-XI grade students of cities and regions of the republic, has been launched. A group composed of IX-XI students of Nakhchivan schools and 20 teachers visited Baku.

In advance, Nakhchivan students pilgrimaged Heydar Aliyev’s grave at the Alley of Honor, Martyrs Avenue, Dagustu Park, got acquainted with Maiden Tower and The Shirvanshahs Palace in Icherisheher. In addition, students visited “From waste to art” exhibition supported by Heydar Aliyev Foundation, then Institute of Dendrology of ANAS.

Attendees of tour-action were informed about establishment of this scientific venture, great philanthropist, oil millionaire Murtuza Mukhtarov by the employees of the Institute of Dendrology. Students from Nakhchivan also were familiar with 1800 species of bush and trees, orangery meet with modern standards, potteries, cultural and decorative plants and fund collections.
