Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Delegation, headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Azerbaijan Hong Jiuyin and the director of China Palace Museum, Dr. Khanom Zhejiang made a visit to the National Museum of Azerbaijan History.

Welcoming the guests, the museum's director, Academician Naila Velikhanli was pleased to meet them in the scientific venture led by her.

In a meeting between the museums of the two countries discussed issues concerning the organization of traveling exhibitions in the future, as well as cooperation in relevant fields between institutions prospects. This meeting is of importance from viewpoint of organization of conferences and seminars, exchange of scientific research and human resources.

The guests were informed in detail about the activities of popular science museum, in particular, new works on reconstruction.

Further, Chinese ambassador to Azerbaijan Hong Jiuyin and representatives of China Palace Museum were introduced in exposition of Azerbaijan since ancient times to the present day, as well as the House-Museum of H.Z.Tagiyev.

 Guests gave the museum a memorial book dedicated to the People's Republic of China.
