Director of the Institute of Physiology accepted as a specialist to the Special Committee of AASSA

Special Committee of the Association of Academies and Societies of Sciences in Asia (AASSA) for Science, Health and Risk (SHER), which was created at the 2nd General Assembly of AASSA, has been renamed to SHARE – Science, Health, Agriculture, Risk and Environment, in October 2014.

The committee to be composed of 10 experts has applied to ANAS due to elect relevant nominee, who has rich experience in these fields from Azerbaijan side. The committee was sent the information about the proper nominees by ANAS.

ANAS Institute of Physiology Dr. Biology Ulduz Hashimova has been accepted the member to Special Committee of AASSA, which is made up over 30 Asian countries.

Note that, within the framework of cooperation between ANAS and AASSA, Baku hosted 2nd Regional Workshop of AASSA “Women in Science and Engineering” on May 2-5, 2012.
