Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

ANAS National Museum of Azerbaijan History held the opening ceremony of the Department of "The Republic of Azerbaijan. 1918-1920" in a new production on May 26 at 11:00.

In order to better complete and detailed demonstration of the first democratic republic in the Muslim East were introduced profound changes.

Department consists of two halls, entitled "Education of the Azerbaijan People Republic. "Caucasian Islamic Army" and "Activity of the Azerbaijani People Republic".

Among presented in new Department exhibits, about 150 is caused great interest the instance of the Declaration of independence of Azerbaijan, presented in 1919 in Paris, weapons, equipment and items of Azerbaijani and Turkish soldiers and officers of the Caucasian Islamic Army, the decision adopted by the Republican parliament and the government in 1918-1920, Azerbaijan flag, prepared by M.Rasulzadeh during emigration.

The monitor, installed in the Department, features the historical speech of M.E.Rasulzadeh, containing information on activity of the Azerbaijan Republic.
