Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The Institute of Geography named after Academician Hasan Aliyev with the joint organizational support of Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS and Executive Power of Sheki will host a conference on "Demographic Development of the Republic of Azerbaijan: perspectives of population distribution and regional issues" on 12-13 September in Sheki.

The conference will be organized on sections: "Symptoms of the demographic development of Azerbaijan and demographic policy", "Formation of national and ethnic composition of the population", "Multiculturalism and tolerance: current status and priorities", "Efficient of territorial organization of economic and social base of the settlement, sustainable development of urban and rural populations", "Ways of solving problems concerning employment and employment policies".

Persons wishing to participate in the conference should submit abstracts of their papers to the Organizing Committee before August 15, 2016.
