Students of 11 classes of Baku European Lyceum visited cemetery of Binagadi fauna and flora of ANAS Museum of Natural History after G.Zardabi. Students for 3 months carried out excavations on the paleontological territory of the Ice Age, the age of which has more than 100 thousand years.
During the field works which are carried out within the competition "Future Scientists", students have found femurs and edges of a rhinoceros, a skull and other parts of birds, and also hundreds of bugs.
In a competition activists of lyceum have been awarded 3 places on the republic.
We will note that, on May over 2700 pupils, teachers and parents have visited the museum. The visitors living on Absheron have presented more than 50 schools.
Students were provided with detailed information about the museum collections of vertebrates and invertebrates, including the findings of minerals.
In addition, the museum is visited by more than 150 students from 6 universities of our country.
