Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

With the participation of the Director of the Institute of Marine Science and Technology (IMST) Doguz Eylül University, Turkey, Professor Erdeniz Ozer and Director of the Institute of Geography Academician H.Aliyev, Academician Ramiz Mammadov was signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between these institutions.

According to the memorandum, it will be carried out joint research program on areas of mutual interest. There is a possibility of extending the deadline stipulated in the five years of the memorandum on the basis of mutual consent.

Note that, the basis of a memorandum of understanding founded in February of this year during a visit to the Institute of Geography of ANAS of Turkish oceanographers-executive director of the International Islamic intergovernmental scientific and technological oceanographic network, Professor Mustafa Ergun and Prof. of Dokuz Eylül University Gunay Chifchi.
