October 12, Planetarium "Tusi-Bohm" launched the project "Promotion of astronomy and space science in schools." 3 months project was implemented with the joint organizational support of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory named after N. Tusi of ANAS, National Center for Ecological Education and Practice of Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan, as well as the financial support of Youth Foundation under the President of Azerbaijan Republic.

Within the project for 3500 students of Baku city schools will be delivered lectures about space and astronomy, and demonstrated exciting show.

Note that the first day of the project within the framework of the World Space Week the students acquainted with a special program and a photo exhibition of the manual work of amateur astronomers, held in Planetarium.
