ANAS Nakhchivan Devision held an interactive lesson

Head of Department of the Institute of History, Ethnography and Archaeology of Nakhchivan Devision, corresponding member of ANAS Veli Bakhshaliyev organized an interactive lesson on the theme "Historical monuments of Nakhchivan".

At the lesson, followed by the electronic board watched 194 students of educational institutions, corresponding member of ANAS Veli Bakhshaliyev spoke about the work being done in the area of registration and certification of historical monuments in the autonomous republic.

It was noted that, the historical and historical-architectural monuments found during archaeological excavations samples of material culture suggest that Nakhchivan - one of the most ancient sites of human civilization.

He also gave information on the characteristics of monuments of the Stone, Bronze and Iron Ages, common in the territory of Nakhchivan. It was noted that, due to the archaeological research of recent years have been more clarified the facts about a number of historical monuments, as well as identified new monuments on the territory of the autonomous republic.

Told about studies conducted earlier by archaeologist Osman Habibullaev in the monument Kultepe I, corresponding member of ANAS Veli Bakhshaliyev noted that, after 2013 this monument new studies were initiated as a result of which it was found that Kultepe I is the oldest monument of Neolithic the entire South Caucasus.

At the lesson had been commented on the nature and results of the radiocarbon tests intended to determine the age monuments.

Presented in an interactive lesson various photographs and maps aroused great interest of students.
