January 31, at the Institute of Philosophy of ANAS was held a scientific conference devoted to the 85th anniversary of the famous scientist, philosopher, PhD in Philosophy Solmaz Rzaguluzade.

At the event, director of the institute, Professor Ilham Mammadzade told about the life of rich scientific work of a scientist. It was noted that current problems of the history of philosophy were investigated in studies of S.Rzaguluzade.

Then Acting Academician-Secretary of the Division of Social Sciences, corresponding member of ANAS Nargiz Akhundova spoke about the contributions S.Rzaguluzade in Azerbaijani science and its irreplaceable role in the development of philosophy. It was emphasized that its rich heritage will be investigated over the years.

Speaking at the event, PhD in Philosophy, Professor Zumrud Guluzade shared their memories of the positive qualities S.Rzaguluzade. Z.Guluzade brought to the attention of that way of life S.Rzaguluzade is an example for young philosophers.

At the conference, Professor Izzet Rustamov, Ph.D. Rafig Azimov, Ph.D. Arzu Hajiyeva, a young scientist Zaur Rashidov described S.Rzaguluzade not only as a great scientist, but also a great man.

In conclusion, speaking on behalf of the family of the scientist's daughter Fidan Hajiyeva expressed gratitude to the organizers and participants of the event.
