Chief engineer of Experience-Industrial Plant of ANAS, PhD in chemistry Melik Demirov passed away on 16 February 2017 at the age of 67.

M.Demirov was born on July 1, 1950 in Tovuz region. In 1974, he started his career at the EIP in office apparatchik through of efficiency and organizational capacity of the plant rose to the position of Chief Engineer.

In 1976 he graduated from Azerbaijan State University as a chemist, in 1984, with a thesis at the Institute of Petrochemical Processes, received the degree of Candidate of Chemical Sciences.

M.Demirov belonged big role and work in the development of new processes in the experimental and pilot scale production organization and other petrochemical products and technical purposes.

M.Demirov as a talented scientist and capable specialist, took an active part in the development of production technology and the use of industrial-scale production of "SuperplastifikatorNKMS - 40-03" in the prescribed in the SCR commissioned by the Ministry of Defence of the former USSR, the technological device.

The scientist had a great contribution to the ongoing reconstruction works at the plant, as well as increasing the volume, range and quality indicators produced at the plant of production in recent years.

It is for the efficient and rich scientific work was awarded the Diploma of ANAS, as well as various awards IPF.

The memory of a glorious past career M.Demirov will always live in the hearts of those who knew him.
