Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

May 25, notable philosopher, ecologist and sociologist, ANAS Institute of Philosophy, Sociology and Law department of “Philosophical problems of theology and culture”, Dr. philosophical sciences, prof. Sakit Huseynov is 65 years old.

 Sakit Huseynov was born on May 25, 1948 in Ojagli village, Jalilabad.  1966 – graduated from secondary honor marks, entered Azerbaijan Pedagogical University department of History. 1970- has been intramural postgraduate of Institute of Philosophy and Law, Azerbaijan AS by specialty sociology. 1978-1950- supervised by well-known sociologist, Dr. Philosophy prof. L.N. Kogan in Yekaterinburg (former Sverdlovsk), Russia. 1980 –defended candidature thesis, 2001- doctoral thesis. 1985-2005 – has been docent of Azerbaijan Technical University department of Philosophy and Politology. 2005- worked as a senior scientific worker at ANAS Institute of Philosophy, Soogy and Law, 2009-since this year, chief department of “Philosophical problems of theology and culture”.

 His research object is welfare culture, culture of religious tolerance, religious belief freedom, national-spiritual values, sustainable development and welfare ecology.

 S. Huseynov is an author of 5 monographs, manual, 7 brochures and methodic aids, more than 150 scientific papers.

 Since 2008 – corresponding member of the Eurasian Academy of Administrative Sciences of RF.      We congratulate Sakit Huseynov on the occasion of 65th jubilee and wish him strong health, long life, achievements in the development of Azerbaijan science.
