Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

A second creative contest dedicated to the World Day of Aviation and Cosmonautics was held among schoolchildren of Baku.

The event was held with the joint organization of the Republican Children and Youth Development Center of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Science Development Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory and the Planetarium Tusi-Bohm.

In the contest, models of space robots and satellites prepared by schoolchildren, aliens’ masks, pictures dedicated to heroes of fantastic, artistic and animated films, figures of "space monsters" molded from plasticine were demonstrated.

The survey of creative works was carried out, winners in four nominations were determined. Young researchers were awarded diplomas, certificates and gifts.
