Today at 07:56 local time was an eruption of the Lokbatan mud volcano, located in the southeast direction, 15 km from Baku on the Caspian Sea coast at the oilfield site.

The depth of the volcano was 4 km, and the duration of the eruption was 4 minutes.

At present, on the territory of volcanic activity, observations are being conducted by an operational group.

Note that, the recorded eruption of the mud volcano Lokbatan in 1810 ranks first among the world's five most active volcanoes.
