Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

President of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbeyli, members of the Presidium of ANAS, heads of departments of the Presidium administration, heads of institutes and organizations and young scientists visited the tomb of National Leader, the architect and founder of modern independent Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev, at the Alley of Honors on the occasion of the 21st anniversary of his passing.

The representatives of the scientific community put flowers on the tomb of National Leader Heydar Aliyev as an expression of deep respect and esteem to unforgettable memory and paid tribute to the National Leader.   

The representatives also honoured the memory of Zarifa Aliyeva, National Leader’s wife, outstanding ophthalmologist, academician and put flowers at her grave.
