Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

The President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Academician Isa Habibbeyli has been elected an Honorary Academician of the Khorezm Mamun Academy of the Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences.

In this regard, a diploma signed by Professor Ikram Abdullayev, Director of the Khorezm Mamun Academy, was presented to Academician Isa Habibbeyli.

The document states that the President of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbeyli has been elected an Honorary Academician of the Khorezm Mamun Academy for his contributions to the development of scientific relations between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, as well as for his research dedicated to “The Importance of Khorezm in World Civilization.”

It should be noted that the Khorezm Mamun Academy was founded in the 11th century and holds a significant place in the scientific and cultural life of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
