Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

President of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbeyli has sent a letter of congratulation to Nobel Prize laureate, honorary member of ANAS, Professor Aziz Sancar, who was awarded the Alisher Navoi International Prize during the Informal Summit of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States, held in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.

The letter reads:

Dear Mr. Aziz,

We were very happy to hear that you received another important award that means a lot to the Turkic world.

Your receiving the Alisher Navoi International Prize during the Informal Summit of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States, held in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, is a great honor for our Academy as well.

On this occasion, I sincerely congratulate you on behalf of myself and the entire staff of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, of which you are an honorary member. I wish you continued success and even greater achievements.
