The diplomatic corners of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran has been created at CSL

Chairman of the Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Azerbaijan Asker Farsi visited the Central Scientific Library of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. On behalf of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, he presented the CSL 250 titles of various books.

Meeting the guest, the director of the CSL, PHD in medicine, Leyla Imanova, expressed her satisfaction with the meeting with the chairman of the Cultural Center A. Farsi. A. Farsi appreciated this step as a contribution to the development of friendly relations and cultural ties between the two countries. The director added that several donated books will be added to the National Digital Memory (NSC) database.

A. Farsi, in turn, also acknowledged the leadership of the library for the warm welcome and spoke about the importance of relations between the two countries, in particular, the exchange of literature. Noting that the histories of our countries are closely interrelated with each other, he said that most of the Persian-language and Arabic-language sources reflecting the history of Azerbaijan are stored in the libraries of Iran: "I would like these sources to be accessible to scientists and researchers of Azerbaijan." A. Farsi stressed the readiness of the Center of Iranian Culture to cooperate with the Central Scientific Library for the sustainable development of scientific and cultural exchange between the countries.

In conclusion, the books donated by the Iranian Culture Center were placed in a diplomatic corner reserved for the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the Library's Academic Hall.
