ANAS Institute of Literature after Nizami Ganjavi held discussions on the existing cooperation between scientific and literary structures of the People's Republic of China.

Vice-President of ANAS, Director of the Nizami Institute of Literature, Academician Isa Habibbeyli spoke about the history of scientific and literary relations with China during the years of independence. Stressing that, the visit of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, outstanding statesman Heydar Aliyev to the People's Republic of China in 1994 laid the foundation of ties in the years of independence, also Academician Isa Habibbayli noted that, visit of President Ilham Aliyev to China in 2015 made a valuable contribution to the Development of this cooperation.

He noted that, the Confucius Center operates under the Institute of Literature and provides training in the Chinese language.

He noted that, at ANAS Institute of Literature is functioning Center of Confucius and is carried out Chinese language training.

Academician said that, Isa Habibbeyli "In 2015, ANAS leadership visited China and held a number of meetings at the Academy of Social Sciences", expressing confidence in the successful continuation of mutual scientific ties.

Then, was listened the report of the scientific employee of the Institute of Literature Nargiz Kerimova, who returned from China after a six-month scientific trip. She said that, she had attended a Chinese language course at Anhui University in Hefei City and shared her experience.

Associate professor of the Faculty of Asian-African Languages at Peking University of Foreign Languages Agshin Aliyev has told about the current state of promotion of the Azerbaijani science in China and works done in this direction. It was noted that, since February 2017, the teaching of the Azerbaijani language began at Peking University of Foreign Languages.

In 2018, was provided admission of students at the Azerbaijani language. A Chinese-Azerbaijani dictionary was also prepared in China, the epic "Kitabi-Dede Gorkud" was published in Chinese.

Then, Head of the Department of Azerbaijani-Asian Literary Relations, Professor Badirkhan Ahmadov noted that, Azerbaijani-Chinese relations continue to develop and stressed that this cooperation will allow carrying out important scientific research in the future.

In conclusion, Academician I. Habibbayli put forward his proposals and recommendations for further cooperation.
