Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

A ceremony of awarding the winners of the international "One World Award" competition was held in Legau, Germany.

One of the winners of the contest is Azerbaijani soil scientist, director of the Regional Practice and Resource Center for Ecological Clean Agriculture of the Institute of Botany , Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Amin Babayev. The scientist has been among the winners of the competition for the development of scientific basis for the promotion and application of ecological agriculture in our country over the past 20 years, as well as the creation of a legal base and information bank, as well as contributions to the training of highly qualified personnel.

The award was given to Professor A.Babayev by German Minister of Economic Development Dr.Gerd Muller.

As part of the OWA competition, the World Agricultural Festival is held in Legau on September 9-12. At the festival, ecologically clean products produced in Azerbaijan, as well as information on scientific methodological materials on the development of ecological agriculture, manufacturers of ecological products and companies dealing with processing are presented on the stand.
