Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

As a result of joint activities of the State Security Service of Republic of Azerbaijan, Ministry of Culture and Tourism and ANAS, 385 samples of material culture belonging to certain periods of the history of Azerbaijan were archaeologically valued and transferred to History Ehnographic Museum of Jalilabad region.

According to the initial assessment of the specialists of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of ANAS, these samples of material culture, including those that originated from bronze and iron from the Bronze Age and Iron Age, are weapons of war that have the economic purpose of clay vessels and their remains, stone tools, ornaments, silver coins have a historical significance, and there is a need for their archaeological research. After a thorough study, these findings will be demonstrated in museums.
