ANAS Institute of Zoology of achieved successful results in the field of reproduction of rare and endangered species

At ANAS Institute of Zoology in artificial conditions rare species have multiply. In the Center of Applied Zoology, in accordance with the research plan of the Institute, studies are being conducted on the "Preparation of breeding methods in Azerbaijan for some rare bird species (common pheasant, green pheasant and red partridge) in artificial conditions".

In the current year, the executors developed a method for reproduction of the Caucasian pheasant, an optimal regime was established and more than 50 pups were obtained.
