Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

A ceremony dedicated to the 300th jubilee of the 18th century Azerbaijani poetry, outstanding poet, prominent political and statesman Molla Panah Vagif was held in the national pavilion organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan within the 36th Turkey International Book Fair in Istanbul's Tüyap Exhibition Center .

Officials, representatives of international organizations, diplomats, scientists and cultural figures, well-known writers, Azerbaijani students and media representatives attended the ceremony.

Secretary General of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) Dusen Kaseinov, academician Nizami Jafarov, director of Azerbaijan National Library Kerim Tahirov, secretary of Azerbaijan Writers Union Rashad Majid and others spoke about the rare style of Molla Panah Vagif's creativity, philosophical structure of his poems, fluency in writing political and public affairs.
