The Republican Seismological Service Center (RSSC) of the National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) has carried out research on the epicentral zone and the surrounding areas where earthquake sensations were felt in order to carry out macroseismic studies of the earthquake on 23 November at 23.42 local time.

According to the research carried out under the leadership of the head of Macro seismic research department of RSSC, PhD on geology-mineralogy Etibar Garavaliyev, the earthquake was felt in the epicentral zone up to 6 points intensity (12-point MSK-64 seismic data).

Epicenter of the earthquake is located 5 km north-west of Guzanli settlement of Agdam region.

The earthquake was felt in a number of settlements in Agdam, Barda and Tartar regions. These are the villages of Guzanli, Poladli, Uchoglan, Khindiristan, Chemanli, Husanli, Kocharli, Khanarab, Gazyan, Kaynnak, Evoglu, Ilikhichilar, Hasali, Ketalppar, Garavelli and Khanagala.

There are no cracks in the Aghdam and Barda seismic stations, where RSSC is experiencing the highest intensity of the earthquake.
