Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

On December 1, Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Hall named after M.Magomayev hosted an event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of outstanding composer, People's Artist Emin Sabitoglu.

The event was attended by well-known figures of science, culture and art took part at the event, which was held under the relevant decree of President Ilham Aliyev on the 80th anniversary of Emin Sabitoglu.

Chairman of the Azerbaijan Composers' Union, People's Artist, and corresponding member of ANAS Firangiz Alizadeh spoke about the life and creativity of the outstanding composer. He said that the composer, authoring more than 600 songs, has composed 9 music comedies and up to 40 films.

Speaking about the greatness of the composer's art, F.Alizade said that his musical pearls were due to the love he felt to the work.

The event continued with a concert program.
