ANAS National Museum of Azerbaijani History held student scientific-theoretical seminar on "Museology - in the context of integration interscientific" - "Facts and analyzes. Study of Abasgulu Agi Bakikhanov's creativity by young museologists" dedicated to the 18th May - International Museum Day.

The event held by the organizational support of the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan, Ministry of Education and the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts (ASUCA).

Opening the event, which was attended by teachers and students of the ASUCA and art historians, director of museum, academician Naila Velikhanli spoke about the work of the historian-scientist Abbasgulu Agi Bakikhanov and emphasized his role in the study and study of historical science. She noted that, by his work "Gulistani-Iram" A.A.Bakikhanov laid the foundation of Azerbaijani historiography and wrote many books on philosophy, astronomy and geography.

Then, deputy chairman of the Municipality of Amirjan settlement Farida Bunyatova delivered a report on "Genius A.A.Bakhikhanov".

At the event, the pro-rector of the ASUCA on scientific and creative issues, Professor Mariam Alizadeh spoke about the development of the museum business in Azerbaijan and the importance of the socio-cultural role of museums in modern society.

Further, head of the student scientific club "Young museum experts" ASUCA, Ph.D. in art criticism, associate professor Elfira Melikova-Gurbanova. She noted that, museum science arose in the 20-30s of the XX century and stressed that museums embody the centuries-old culture of peoples.

In the second part of the theoretical and theoretical seminar, students of the ASUCA delivered reports on the life and work of Abbasgul Aga Bakikhanov.
