Museum of Archeology and Ethnography, functioning at the Nakhchivan Division of ANAS held an open lesson for students of the history and philology faculty, "Museology specialty, archive work and monument protection" of Nakhchivan State University.

At the open lesson, , head of the Department of Archaeological Survey of the Institute of History, Ethnography and Archeology of the Department Ph.D. in History Zeynab Guliyeva told about the samples of material culture reflecting the ancient and rich history of Nakhchivan, revealed as a result of archaeological excavations conducted in various territories of the region.

Students were acquainted by the exhibits collected in the museum are examples of material culture identified by the studies carried out in different areas of the region in the years 2006-2017 on the basis of the historical order of the chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic "On the organization of work for the protection of and certification of historical and cultural monuments on the territory of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic ", signed dated December 6, 2005.

Antique items related to the Neolithic period, Eneolith, Bronze, Iron and the Middle Ages, Houseware objects, clothes, medals donated to the museum by the Chairman of the Supreme Mejlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in connection with the 90th anniversary of this region.
