Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory named after N. Tusi held an “Open Door” Day in connection with the moon eclipse and the Mars-Earth opposition taking place on the night of 27 to 28 July.

Two large and one small telescope was allocated by Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory to observe this natural phenomenon.

Nearly 1,000 foreign and domestic visitors have arrived in the Observatory since midnight.

Observatory staff was involved in this work at high level.

The mentioned natural phenomenon started at 22:24 Baku time and ended at 02.19.

The observation on the telescopes made a good impression.

Note that, during the capture process, the telescope of the observatory on a 2 m spectral observation for the Mars planet was also used.
